7 bad eating habits

Even dietitians couldn’t eat perfectly every time. But when some worse habits become usual in you, you may face weight gain, high blood pressure, high cholesterol and so on. So, a list of some possible bad habits which may throw you to these problems are given here. 7 bad habits have been listed:

#1. Not Having Breakfast

It is known that breakfast is the most significant meal of a day. Nowadays kids even adults have a tendency of not having breakfast. They think that they so many works, tasks. Even the works grabs such attention that they forget their breakfast. They also say that they don’t have time. But if you skip your breakfast, your metabolism starts to slow. Breakfast boosts your energy for work. It works as fuel for your body. Without this most important fuel, you won’t be able to work much and take a late-meal. In a recent report of kids in China, it was shown that people who skipped breakfast over the course of two years put on much more weight than those who did. So, the solution is to take at least a small thing of your stock. Try never to skip breakfast.

#2. A late-night meal

If you are thinking of losing weight, then late night meal is almost prohibited. Northwestern University researchers discovered that mice fed a high-fat diet during the daytime acquired noticeably more weight than mice fed the same diet at night. It’s not only what you eat but also how much you eat that count. So there is a simple solution. After your last meal, think that the kitchen and the refrigerator has been closed. Also, when your last meal is over, brush instantly before going to anywhere. So what will happen – you won’t want to eat with your newly brushed teeth. Thus you will remain away. If you feel too hungry, then don’t eat too much. Eat a small piece of anything what you want.

#3. Eating mindlessly

It happens when you are watching a movie. Your full focus goes on the movie you are watching. You sit with a big dish of popcorn. A researcher discovered that while watching a movie you sit with a big bowl or dish and eat unknowingly.   The researcher also found that when anyone watches movie, if the person is given two dishes of popcorn remaining the same amount, one big and one small, the person consumes from the big dish if it is stale more than small dish if it is fresh. Try avoiding from eating from big dishes. Use smaller dishes instead of big dishes. Never eat directly from a container or big package.

#4. Never-ending Snacking

There is a very bad habit to take snack almost all the time. In a research it has been found that kids are taking snack continually more which are junk including potato chips, soda, sweet candy etc. Take healthy snack. This may include vegetables like carrots, slices of cucumber, yoghurt, almonds etc. If you work on computer, don’t stock your desk with junk snacks like chips, candy, soda etc. And never give your child tiffin which includes junk foods. Because he/she may skip breakfast and if eats junk foods without breakfast, it will harm more than normal eating of junk food.

#5. Lack of enough sleep

In a recent research which was in Tokyo, it has been found that those who sleep five hours or less, become overweight than those who sleep seven hours or more than that. Make a daily routine of your own, go to bed early cause if you do so, you will be able to get up early. You must stop using computers or mobiles at least before sleep. For good sleep, you have to make your room comfortable. Try to get up every day at same time even including your weekends.

#6. Hurriedly eating

When you start eating quickly, about 15 to 20 minutes after you begin eating, your brain sends the message that you are satisfied. You can consume far more food than you need if you finish your meal in less than 10 minutes. Japanese researchers found in one research of 3200 men and women that eating too quickly had a strong possibility of being overweight. Eat slowly, this may take time. So what? You will be healthy. Also you have to make your bites smaller, and moreover, ensure that you have chewed each bites properly.

#7. Eating emotionally

When you return home from a stressful day at work, opening the refrigerator and eating is not a healthy diet plan. You use eating as a coping method, claims Crandall. Numerous studies have shown that emotions, both good and bad, can lead people to eat more than they should, which can be a simple obstacle to losing weight. If you have a stressful day at your office then you may take a walk instead of calling any of your friend who is sympathetic or eating. Try as you could to keep you away from the kitchen.
